The Everest Family Trek is a 10-day family-friendly trek designed specifically for families with children aged 8 and up. The route follows the classic LuklaPhakdingNamcheTengboche corridor but with a deliberately slower pace, shorter walking days (4-5 hours max), and engaging activities along the way. Children meet Sherpa families, visit the local school in Khumjung, learn to make momos with a Sherpa cook, take photos with yaks, and earn a junior trekker certificate at the end. The maximum altitude of 3,880m at the Everest View Hotel is well within safe limits for children. Our guides are experienced with family groups and trained in pediatric first aid. We use comfortable tea houses with private family rooms where possible and pack kid-friendly meals.
