Kanchenjunga Region

The Kanchenjunga region is one of Nepal’s least-trekked areas, offering an unparalleled wilderness experience. The journey traverses the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, a region celebrated for its incredible biodiversity, including rhododendron forests, and as a habitat for rare wildlife like the red panda and snow leopard. Trekkers can explore both the North and South Base Camps of Kanchenjunga (8,586m), witnessing the mountain’s five great peaks, which are known as the “Five Treasures of the Great Snow.” This long and strenuous trek rewards the adventurous with pristine landscapes, solitude, and authentic encounters with Rai and Limbu communities.
