Insurance Requirement

Travel insurance is mandatory for all our treks and tours. Your insurance must cover trekking to 3800m altitude (for treks), emergency helicopter evacuation up to USD 10,000, emergency medical treatment, and trip cancellation. To confirm your booking, a deposit is required (50% for helicopter tours). The balance is due 30 days before departure (7 days for helicopter tours). We accept bank transfer, credit card (4% surcharge), PayPal. Free cancellation up to 60 days before departure. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering trip cancellation. What is the weight limit and group size?

Standard helicopters (AS350 B3) seat 5 passengers plus pilot. Weight limit is 100kg (220 lbs) per person with total payload 500kg. For groups of 6+, we use multiple helicopters or a larger MI-17 (18-22 seats). Soft duffel bags preferred over hard suitcases. Maximum 15kg luggage per person including camera gear.

What should I wear and bring?

Dress warmly – temperatures at altitude can be -10 to -20C. Essential: down jacket or insulated jacket, warm hat and gloves, sunglasses with strong UV protection, sunscreen SPF 50+, lip balm with SPF, closed-toe shoes, camera with charged batteries (cold drains them fast).
