그만큼 Gosaikunda 헬람부 Trek is a 12-day moderate trek combining the sacred pilgrimage site of Gosaikunda Lake (4,380m) with the culturally rich Helambu valley, homeland of the Hyolmo (Helambu Sherpa) people. The trek begins with a drive from 카트만두 to Dhunche, climbs to Gosaikunda for the pilgrimage experience, crosses the Laurebina La Pass (4,610m), then descends through the Helambu valley visiting traditional Sherpa villages, monasteries, and terraced farmland. The Helambu region is known for its apple orchards, traditional Sherpa architecture, and the Hyolmo culture which is distinct from the Sherpa of the Everest region. The trek is accessible year-round and offers an excellent combination of natural beauty, religious significance, and cultural immersion within easy reach of Kathmandu.

Gosaikunda Helambu Trek – 12 Days Itinerary

7-hour scenic jeep ride to Dhunche, then short trek to Chandanbari.
Climb to the sacred lake of Gosaikunda. Afternoon puja at the lakeside shrine.
Continue through forest to the high ridge of Tharepati with sweeping mountain views.
Long descent into the 헬람부 valley to the Hyolmo village of Tarkeghyang, with its 500-year-old monastery.
Rest day with monastery visit, village exploration, and traditional Hyolmo meal.
Continue through apple orchards and Sherpa villages to Sermathang.
Final descent through terraced hillsides to Melamchi Pul Bazaar.
5-hour scenic jeep ride back to 카트만두. Evening farewell dinner.
Buffer day for rest or optional sightseeing in 카트만두 계곡.

Accommodation: Star Hotel, Tea House, Home Stay. Tea houses are family-run lodges with simple twin-share rooms and shared bathrooms. Altitude Safety
Maximum altitude is 4610m. Above 3,500m, altitude sickness is a real risk. Our itinerary includes acclimatization days, guides carry pulse oximeters and emergency oxygen. Walk slowly, stay hydrated (3-4 liters daily), avoid alcohol above 3,500m, report symptoms immediately. Travel insurance covering helicopter evacuation is mandatory.

Insurance Requirement
Travel insurance is mandatory for all our treks and tours. Your insurance must cover trekking to 4610m altitude (for treks), emergency helicopter evacuation up to USD 10,000, emergency medical treatment, and trip cancellation. Cultural Etiquette
Dress modestly at religious sites (cover shoulders and knees). Remove shoes before entering temple sanctums. Walk clockwise around stupas and chortens. Ask permission before photographing people. Use your right hand for eating and passing items. Say namaste (palms together) as a greeting.

To confirm your booking, a deposit is required (50% for helicopter tours). The balance is due 30 days before departure (7 days for helicopter tours). We accept bank transfer, credit card (4% surcharge), PayPal. Free cancellation up to 60 days before departure. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering trip cancellation.
