Langtang Valley Trek Overview

The Langtang Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding short treks in the Himalayas. Just a day’s drive from Kathmandu, this trek offers a perfect mix of natural beauty, mountain scenery, and rich Tamang culture.
Known as the “Valley of Glaciers,” Langtang is home to spectacular peaks like Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and Dorje Lakpa, as well as charming villages and ancient monasteries.
In only eight days, you’ll experience everything from lush forests to high alpine valleys, visit 칸진 곰파, and hike to Tserko Ri (4,980m) for breathtaking sunrise views of the Langtang Himalayas.

01일:

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel.
Short briefing and trek preparation in the evening.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,500m) – 7 to 8 hours

After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain roads along the Trishuli River. Enjoy views of terraced fields and distant peaks before reaching Syabrubesi, the starting point of your trek.
Overnight at teahouse in Syabrubesi.

Day 03 :

Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,470m) – 6 hours

Start trekking through dense forest, crossing suspension bridges and following the Langtang River. Gradually climb to Lama Hotel, surrounded by beautiful hills.

Day 04 :

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) – 6 hours

Continue ascending through forests and meadows with the first views of Langtang Lirung. Pass Ghodatabela and reach Langtang Village, rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake.

Day 05 :

Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) and village exploration

A short scenic hike takes you to Kyanjin Gompa, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Explore the village, visit the monastery, and learn about the local lifestyle.

Day 06 :

Hike to Tserko Ri (4,980m), return to Kyanjin, and trek down to Lama Hotel

Start early for the climb to Tserko Ri, the highest point of the trek, offering a panoramic sunrise view of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and the surrounding peaks. Afterward, descend back to Lama Hotel for the night.

Day 07 :

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi and drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, descend to Syabrubesi following the Langtang River trail. Upon arrival, drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 08 :

Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for your international flight. Our team will ensure a smooth departure and farewell from Nepal.
