The Bhote Koshi Rafting trip is a 2-day high-adrenaline white water rafting adventure on Nepal’s steepest and most challenging commercial rafting river. Originating near the Tibet border, the Bhote Koshi drops continuously through a narrow gorge with rapids rated Class IV-V including ‘Frog in a Blender,’ ‘John’s Walk,’ and ‘The Great Wall.’ The river is for experienced rafters or adventurous first-timers in good physical condition. The 2-day trip includes rafting both days, overnight at a comfortable riverside resort, all meals, and return transport to Kathmandu. The river runs high in summer (June-August) creating the most challenging conditions, and lower in spring and autumn offering technical runs.
