The Tamur River Rafting Expedition is an 11-day wilderness adventure combining a 3-day trek with 8 days of white water rafting on Nepal’s most exciting river. Voted the ‘best river trip in Nepal’ by Outside Magazine, the Tamur offers 120km of continuous Class IV-V rapids, dramatic mountain scenery, and remote wilderness camping. The expedition begins with a flight to Biratnagar and a drive to Basantapur, followed by a 3-day trek through rhododendron forest with views of Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and Everest.
