The Annapurna Family Trek is an 8-day family-friendly trek designed specifically for families with children aged 6 and up. The route follows the classic Poon Hill circuit through rhododendron forest and traditional Gurung villages, with a deliberately slower pace, shorter walking days (4-5 hours max), and engaging cultural activities along the way. Children meet Gurung families, visit the local school in Ghandruk, learn to make momos with a Gurung cook, take photos with yaks and goats, and earn a junior trekker certificate at the end. The maximum altitude of 3,210m at Poon Hill is well within safe limits for children. Our guides are experienced with family groups and trained in pediatric first aid.
