ザ・ Koshi Tappu Wildlife Tour is a 4-day wildlife and bird watching adventure in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Nepal’s smallest but most biodiverse protected area. Located on the floodplains of the Sapta Koshi river in eastern Nepal, the reserve protects 175 sq km of wetland habitat that is home to over 500 bird species (including the rare Bengal florican and swamp francolin), the last remaining population of wild water buffalo in Nepal, Gangetic dolphin, and over 200 fish species. The 4-day package includes jeep safari, boat ride on the Sapta Koshi, bird watching walks with expert ornithologist, visit to the Koshi barrage, and cultural interactions with local communities. The reserve is a Ramsar site (wetland of international importance) and a paradise for birders.
