The Everest Senior Citizen Trek is a 12-day trek designed specifically for active travelers aged 60 and above who want to experience the magic of the Everest region at a comfortable pace. The route follows the classic LuklaPhakdingNamcheTengboche corridor but with deliberately slow pacing, two full acclimatization days, shorter walking days (4-5 hours max), and senior-friendly support. We use the best tea houses with attached bathrooms where available, carry emergency oxygen and a pulse oximeter, and assign guides experienced with senior trekkers. The maximum altitude of 3,880m at the Everest View Hotel is well within safe acclimatization limits for healthy older adults. A backup helicopter evacuation plan is communicated to family at home for peace of mind.
