개요
The Sun Koshi Rafting Expedition is a 9-day white water rafting journey on Nepal’s ‘River of Gold’ – the Sun Koshi – covering 270km from Dolalghat (near 카트만두) to Chatara (near the Indian border). The river is one of the world’s top 10 river expeditions, offering a unique combination of big water rapids (Class IV+), remote wilderness camping on sandy beaches, diverse landscapes from Himalayan foothills to subtropical lowlands, and the chance to spot wildlife including monkeys, deer, and over 200 bird species. Each day brings new rapids including ‘Meatgrinder,’ ‘High Anxiety,’ and ‘Big Dipper,’ with the river growing in volume as tributaries join. The expedition uses 16-foot self-bailing rafts with a support kayak, and includes full-service beach camping throughout.
