개요

그만큼 Milke Danda Trek is a 12-day easy-grade trek through the Milke Danda ridge, which hosts the largest and most diverse rhododendron forest in Nepal. The ridge runs east to west between the Tamor and Arun rivers and offers panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Jannu, Makalu, and Chamlang. The trek reaches 3,590m at the Milke Danda top, which is below the altitude that causes acclimatization problems for most travelers. Spring (April-May) is the prime season when the rhododendrons bloom in waves of red, pink, and white, turning entire hillsides into a botanical garden. The route passes through Limbu, Rai, and Sherpa villages with rich cultural traditions and warm hospitality. This is the ideal trek for nature lovers, photographers, and families wanting Himalayan views without the altitude of base camp treks.
